How the Leaderboard Works
After completing any timed typing test, you can submit your score to the global leaderboard with an anonymous username. Scores are ranked by net WPM (words per minute adjusted for accuracy), which rewards both speed and precision. Your gross WPM, accuracy percentage, and test date are shown alongside each entry.
Each test duration has its own separate ranking because longer tests naturally produce different WPM averages than shorter ones. A 30-second burst test captures peak speed, while a 10-minute endurance test reflects sustained performance. This keeps comparisons fair and meaningful.
